Two neglected puppers saved by veteran from being run over given a chance to heal from the hurt hoomans caused them under the foster care of their brave rescuer, foster dad says: ‘They may end up becoming my new family members.’

No two rescues are equal, but this rescue of two doggos is certainly a cut above the rest, as this kind and caring dog lover goes above and beyond to try and help the puppers he found get home, or better yet stay with him furever.

Rescuing doggos is a tough thing, you never quite know what you will be up against. The first hurdle you have to overcome are the doggos themselves, the way they behave, whether or not they fear you or other things. Then you have to find a way to shell out to deal with their various health issues. And finally you are tasked with finding their owners, whether or not they want them back, and have to deal with said owners who are likely not going to be all too pleased to see the dogs they abandoned turn up again at their door.

All of this means that a canine rescuer needs to be someone of strong resolve who is not willing to give up on the sweet canine souls in their care. They are willing to put everything on the line and put the puppers first so that they can live their best lives. And that is exactly what this canine rescuing veteran did for two doggos he came upon in the street.

  • Oh goodness, what a situation to come upon. It is tough enough seeing a pair of puppers in a tough spot that hoomanity has put them in. But to then see how much they have come to rely on each other to keep each other safe and strong, it really pulls at your heart strings. At least they had each other in this tough time in their life. We cannot imagine what it must be like to be a dog from a hooman designed breed who does not have the help of hoomans to deal with the various problems we have bred into them.

  • It is truly over the top the way this kind and caring man is doing his part to find the owners of these sweet doggos. Many people would say, and be right, that the owners do not deserve to have these doggos returned to them. After all, how can a caring and loving pawrent let their pupper get to be in such a state. But that is just how understanding this veteran is. He knows that sometimes people are not at their best and things slide and doggos run away. That does not necessarily make them bad people who do not deserve love.
